Software Developer

In this role you will develop and enhance web applications using Python and Django within a collaborative digital team in Central London, delivering secure, scalable solutions aligned with strategic objectives. You will work across front-end and back-end, design APIs, support CI/CD, and ensure code quality, testing, and documentation. You will gather requirements, engage with stakeholders, and help improve development processes. • Develop and maintain applications using Python, Django and related technologies
• Write clean, secure and testable code
• Support and enhance existing systems and applications
• Gather requirements and collaborate with stakeholders on technical solutions
• Design and implement APIs and system integrations
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Work across front-end and back-end development
• Participate in code reviews and share knowledge within the team
• Ensure development follows best practices for testing, security and documentation
• Support UAT, testing and software releases

• Commercial experience developing with Python
• Experience using Django
• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Experience with SQL and database design
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions
• Experience with Bash and command-line tools
• Experience with AWS cloud services
