Software Developer - Project Based (8 Months)

Salary: ₱35,000 – ₱40,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for a Software Developer to design, develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise web-based applications. The role will be responsible for developing reliable and scalable solutions, integrating APIs, managing databases, troubleshooting system issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, SQL Server, REST APIs, and enterprise application development, preferably with exposure to HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise web-based applications based on business and technical requirements.

• Develop scalable backend services and web applications using C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core/MVC.

• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs with internal and third-party applications.

• Design and maintain SQL Server databases, including tables, stored procedures, queries, indexes, and other database objects.

• Optimize application and database performance and troubleshoot technical issues affecting system reliability.

• Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and appropriate software design patterns in application development.

• Conduct unit testing, debugging, code reviews, and validation of developed features before deployment.

• Investigate application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement appropriate corrective solutions.

• Follow established SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies throughout the development lifecycle.

• Use source code management and collaboration tools such as Git, GitHub, and Azure DevOps.

• Participate in system integration, deployment, and release activities.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, system specifications, API documentation, and development-related records.

• Apply secure coding and application security practices when developing and maintaining systems.

• Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA teams, project teams, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.

• Contribute to HRIS, payroll, timekeeping, and other enterprise business applications.

• Support cloud-based application development, DevOps, and CI/CD automation initiatives.

• Monitor and improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

• Explore and appropriately utilize AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot and other AI coding assistants, to improve development productivity and code quality.

• Support data reporting, analytics, and system integrations as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 3–5 years of professional software development experience.

• Proven experience developing and maintaining enterprise web-based applications.

• Strong hands-on experience with:

  • C#

  • .NET Framework / .NET Core

  • ASP.NET MVC / ASP.NET Core

  • Microsoft SQL Server

  • REST API development and integration

• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, software design patterns, and application architecture.

• Experience in database design, query development, optimization, and troubleshooting.

• Experience using Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or similar source control platforms.

• Knowledge of unit testing, debugging, and code review practices.

• Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall software development methodologies.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Good understanding of application security and secure development practices.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience with HRIS, Payroll, and Timekeeping systems.
