Software Developer (ServiceNow)
Summary
Software Developer specializing in ServiceNow — designing, configuring, and integrating ServiceNow applications, ITSM modules, and workflows using JavaScript, REST/SOAP, and Flow Designer.
We are looking for an experienced Software Developer specialising in ServiceNow, with hands-on experience in designing, developing, integrating, and implementing software solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules.
- Implement and support ServiceNow ITSM processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management.
- Develop and maintain: Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, ACLs, Service Catalog items, Record Producers.
- Build workflows using Flow Designer and Workflow Editor.
- Develop and manage integrations with internal and external systems using REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub, and MID Servers.
- Configure and maintain CMDB, Service Catalog, and Service Portal solutions.
- Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development best practices and governance standards.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and platform administrators to deliver high-quality solutions.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–9 years of relevant professional experience in software development, including at least 4 years of hands-on experience developing and configuring solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting, with practical experience in platform configuration, customization, and application development.
- Demonstrated experience implementing, configuring, and supporting ServiceNow ITSM modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management.
- Experience with ServiceNow development tools and technologies, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, ACLs, Flow Designer, Service Catalog, and integrations.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
