Software Developer
Summary
Develop and maintain Java-based integrations and REST APIs using Spring Boot in an Agile environment, troubleshooting performance issues and writing unit tests.
We are looking for a Software Developer to help integrate our new core systems with various business areas, including Enterprise Services, Retail, Corporate, and BCAP. You will work with Java and related technologies in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain integrations for new core systems
- Build REST APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Work in Agile teams to deliver high-quality software
- Use pair programming, continuous integration, and test-driven development practices
- Write and run unit and performance tests
- Document your code and designs
- Troubleshoot and fix integration and performance issues
Requirements
- 4+ years in software development, preferably in Agile teams
- Strong knowledge of Java and object-oriented programming
- Experience with unit testing frameworks
- Familiar with REST APIs and Spring Boot
- Experience with .NET (for BCAP) and WebLogic Server is a plus
