Software Developer (Digital Transformation & Business Systems)
TIEC is a leading distributor of electrical and electronic test and measurement solutions, serving Thailand's power utilities and industrial sectors since 2004. As we invest in digital transformation and data-driven operations, we are creating this role to build the business systems, data platform, and integrations that will support our next phase of growth.
How you'll make an impact
Internal System Development: Design and develop internal business applications covering sales operations, inventory, service workflows, and operational reporting, building reliable systems that the team uses every day.
Database & Data Platform: Design, implement, and maintain relational databases and data pipelines that consolidate business data and make it available for reporting, analytics, and decision-making.
Website & E-Commerce: Develop and maintain the corporate website (PHP / Alpine.js / Tailwind) and Shopify e-commerce store, improving performance, security, and stability while coordinating with external vendors on SEO and content.
Automation & Process Optimization: Develop workflow automation solutions that eliminate manual workloads, standardize business processes, and connect systems through APIs and middleware.
Outsource Coordination: Coordinate outsourced developers and technology partners to ensure high-quality implementation and timely project delivery.
Your professional profile
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
Experience: 2–3+ years in software development, web application development, or business system development
Shipped Production Software: Demonstrated experience building and deploying applications used by real users in a production environment.
Database skills: Hands-on experience designing and querying relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL) in a production setting
API experience: Demonstrated ability to build or consume REST APIs and integrate third-party services
Communication: Can explain technical decisions clearly to non-technical stakeholders and gather requirements from business users.
