Summary
Develops and maintains Java-based microservices and REST APIs, troubleshooting issues, optimizing SQL queries, and deploying via CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in Java-based applications, including Microservices and REST APIs.
- Review application code, identify defects, and implement code fixes based on reported issues.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for application, batch, and connectivity incidents, and implement permanent remediation solutions.
- Investigate and optimize application performance by analyzing SQL queries, understanding SAQ query usage, and performing query tuning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy application changes through CI/CD pipelines.
- Prioritize production defects based on business impact and criticality, and plan releases in alignment with quarterly release schedules.
- Develop new features and enhancements while supporting end-to-end testing, including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Prepare and execute production deployments, ensuring all required risk assessments and impact analyses are completed.
- Monitor production stability and provide timely support for production incidents and critical issues.
- Track, manage, and ensure timely closure of defects in accordance with defined defect closure KPIs.
- Share production support findings, RCA, and best practices with QA and development teams to improve application quality and reduce recurring defects.
- Verify, deploy, and maintain applications and systems across multiple environments.
- Troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and enhance existing software to improve reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Recommend and implement continuous improvements to application architecture, development processes, and operational efficiency.
