Key responsibilities:
Develop backend APIs and frontend screens, using Claude and Codex for coding, refactoring, debugging and test generation.
Review all AI-generated code for correctness, security and quality before merging.
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / Azure DevOps / Jenkins).
Use AI tools to automate build, test, code review and deployment steps, and to troubleshoot failed pipelines.
Write unit and integration tests, partly AI-assisted.
Deploy to dev, staging and production, with rollback steps.
Write prompts, project instructions and reusable AI workflows for the team.
Debug issues, support UAT and document code and deployment steps.
Required skills:
Working experience with Claude (Claude Code) and Codex for real project tasks, not just chat.
Good prompting: giving context, breaking tasks into steps and verifying output.
One backend language: Node.js / Python / .NET / Java (pick one).
Frontend basics: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, plus React or Angular.
SQL with MySQL, PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
REST APIs, JSON and Postman.
Git workflows (branching, pull requests, merge conflicts).
CI/CD basics: pipeline YAML, build and test stages, environment variables and secrets.
Good to have:
Docker and basic Kubernetes.
Cloud deployment (AWS / Azure / Vercel).
Linux and shell scripting.
Experience with MCP servers, AI agents or LLM API integration.
GitHub profile or projects built with AI tools.
