We are from Synex Partners Corporation, currently supporting a digital marketing project for iConnexion Asia Pte Ltd. iConnexion Asia Pte Ltd is headquartered in Singapore and has also set up an office at Krystal Point, Penang.

We would like to offer an internship opportunity for students in the fields of Software Development, AI Automation & Web Development Intern to join our team in Penang.

iConnexion Asia Pte Ltd is an electronics components distributor headquartered in Singapore, with an office in Penang, Malaysia.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern with a passion for software development, web programming, API integration, and AI automation.

This internship provides an opportunity to work on real-world projects, develop practical technical skills, and contribute to digital transformation initiatives within the electronics components distribution industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal software applications, websites, tools, and dashboards.

• Build and integrate APIs, databases, and web-based applications.

• Develop automation solutions for sales, RFQ, quotations, inventory, reporting, and daily operations.

• Integrate AI platforms such as OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini into business workflows.

• Perform software testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and documentation.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.

• Basic programming knowledge in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar languages.

• Understanding of web development, APIs, JSON, SQL, and database concepts.

• Interest in AI integration, software development, web development, and automation.

• Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.

• Able to work independently and communicate effectively.

Added Advantages

• Experience with Next.js, React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and responsive website development.

• Experience developing websites, software applications, or automation projects.

Internship Details:

• Location: Krystal Point, Penang

• Internship Type: On-site

• Internship Duration: Based on college/university requirements

• Internship Allowance: RM600–RM1,000 per month
