About the Role

We are looking for an SDE2 – AI-Native Developer who can leverage AI to automate and optimize the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building AI-driven workflows, automating software development processes, integrating AI agents into engineering systems, and deploying AI-powered solutions in production environments.

This role requires strong software engineering fundamentals combined with practical experience using AI to improve engineering productivity, software quality, and delivery speed.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-driven workflows to automate coding, testing, debugging, code reviews, and deployment.
• Build and optimize AI-powered development workflows to improve engineering productivity and software delivery.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain AI-enabled applications and services in production environments.
• Integrate AI models, agents, tools, and APIs into existing software systems and engineering pipelines.
• Build scalable backend services and APIs using technologies such as Golang and Spring Boot.
• Work with cloud infrastructure and distributed systems to ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Use caching and messaging technologies to support efficient application architectures.
• Monitor production deployments, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve system performance.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive engineering tasks and improve SDLC efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver reliable, maintainable, and scalable software solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in software development, backend engineering, or a related technical role.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, APIs, backend development, and system design.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted software engineering, AI agents, or automated development workflows.
• Experience integrating AI capabilities into software applications or engineering pipelines.
• Practical understanding of automating one or more SDLC stages, such as coding, testing, debugging, code review, or deployment.
• Experience building reliable and maintainable software systems.
• Ability to evaluate AI-generated output, handle failures, and maintain software quality.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate goes beyond using AI for code generation and understands how to integrate AI into the software development lifecycle.

Candidates should be able to explain a real implementation of an AI-powered development workflow, their individual contribution, the architecture and tools used, the challenges encountered, and the measurable improvements achieved.

Experience deploying AI-powered systems into production and ensuring reliability, security, and maintainability is highly valued.

Compensation: 25–60 LPA, depending on experience and technical expertise.
