Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications and services.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Apply Data Structures and Algorithms to optimize application performance.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical decision-making.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, QA Engineers, DevOps, and other stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in development and production environments.
• Contribute to performance tuning, scalability improvements, and system reliability.
• Follow software engineering best practices and coding standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in Java or Python backend development.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience working with relational databases and API development.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
