Software Development Engineer

You will develop Android-based payment terminal applications while also contributing to backend services and integrations, working across the full payment stack-from device to gateway.

This role is ideal for someone with 2-3 years of experience who wants to deepen their expertise in fintech, embedded systems, and full stack payment development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Android payment terminal applications
• Implement contactless and contact payment functionalities
• Develop and integrate backend services/APIs for payment processing
• Integrate with backend systems and acquiring banks
• Collaborate with hardware, platform, and backend teams
• Implement security, encryption, and data protection mechanisms
• Ensure compliance with EMV, Visa, Mastercard, and industry standards
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain production systems

Requirements

Experience

• 2-3 years in software development (mid-level)
• Experience in embedded systems, payment devices, or full stack development preferred

Technical Knowledge

• C/C++, Java, Kotlin, Node.js, or Flutter
• Backend development experience (js, APIs, integrations)
• Embedded Linux / RTOS familiarity
• Git or similar version control

Industry Experience (HIghly Preferred)

• Cashless payment integration for:
  • Vending machines (MDB)
  • EV chargers
  • Parking systems
  • Transit / mobility solutions

Security

• Secure coding practices & cryptography basics

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
• Good communication & teamwork
