Summary
Designs, builds, and maintains scalable Java backend applications (Spring Boot, microservices) and integrates generative AI features — LLM APIs, RAG, vector databases, semantic search — into enterprise applications at Bulwark Software Research in Bangalore.
Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java.
- Build and integrate AI-powered features into existing enterprise applications.
- Develop REST APIs and microservices for AI-driven applications.
- Work with generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and AI-based solutions.
- Integrate LLM APIs and AI services into Java-based applications.
- Explore and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
- Work with vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search.
- Develop intelligent automation and decision-making capabilities.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and AI teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Ensure application performance, security, reliability, and maintainability.
Core Requirements :
1. Core Java and Backend Development :
- Strong proficiency in Core Java.
- Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Hibernate.
- Microservices architecture.
- RESTful APIs and backend system design.
- Multithreading, concurrency, and OOP concepts.
- SQL/NoSQL databases.
2. AI / Generative AI :
- Hands-on experience with generative AI and LLMs.
- Experience integrating OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, or similar LLM APIs.
- Knowledge of RAG architecture and implementation.
- Understanding of embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search.
- Exposure to LangChain, LangGraph, or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
- Prompt engineering and AI application development.
- Familiarity with AI agents and agentic workflows is an advantage.
3. Additional Skills :
- Kafka or other messaging systems.
- Docker and Kubernetes.
- AWS / GCP / Azure.
- Git, CI/CD, and Agile development practices.
