Software Development Engineer in Test

About the Role We are looking for a Senior SDET with 6–8+ years of relevant experience to design and develop scalable test automation solutions across UI, API, system integration, and end-to-end testing. The role combines software engineering, test automation, CI/CD, cloud, and AI-assisted development. The ideal candidate is a strong Python developer with hands-on experience in modern automation frameworks and a mindset for continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable test automation frameworks and architectures. Define and implement test automation strategies, including appropriate test levels, coverage, and risk-based testing. • Develop automated tests for UI, API, system integration, and end-to-end testing. • Build automation using Python, Pytest, Selenium, Playwright, and Appium. • Integrate automated testing into Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD pipelines. • Improve automation coverage, stability, execution efficiency, and reporting. • Work with AWS-based environments to support scalable test execution. • Use PowerShell and scripting to automate test execution, environment setup, and supporting engineering tasks. • Use GitHub Copilot and AI/LLM-based tools for code generation, test creation, debugging, refactoring, and test analysis. • Explore and implement AI-driven approaches to improve test automation and engineering productivity. • Collaborate with developers, testers, architects, and product teams in an Agile/Scrum environment Mentor team members and contribute to automation strategy and technology evolution.
