Software Development Engineer in Test

Inpeco is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to strengthen quality across its Data Analytics Cloud Platform. You will design testable solutions, build scalable automation, and enable secure, reliable software delivery in collaboration with software engineers, DevOps and PMs.

You will define risk-based test strategies, own automation, and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines while exploring GenAI-assisted testing and modern tooling to boost efficiency and quality.

Lead test strategy development and risk-based testing plans. Own test automation framework development and CI/CD integration. Translate requirements into effective acceptance criteria and test scenarios. Coordinate manual and automated testing activities; report quality metrics. Drive defect management and root-cause analysis with teams. Contribute to architecture and design with testability in mind. Explore GenAI-assisted test generation and related tooling. Must have experience in SDET, QA Engineering or related field. Strong automation testing experience; cloud or data-driven products preferred. Proficiency in Python or Java; knowledge of Windows and Linux environments. Experience designing automated test strategies and CI/CD integration. Hands-on experience with API, integration and system testing; debugging skills. Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and distributed systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to communicate results clearly.
