Summary
Entry-level QA automation engineer (SDET) at PARKEE: reviews requirements, writes test plans and cases, performs white- and black-box testing, builds automation scripts with Cypress/Robot Framework, and tracks QA metrics alongside developers and PMs. Suited to fresh graduates with Java, SQL, and Agile exposure.
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
- Perform white box testing and black box testing to ensure code quality and functionality
- Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools (e.g., Cypress)
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
- Collaborate with internal teams (developers & product managers) to identify system requirements
- Monitor debugging processes and analyze results
- Investigate the root cause of issues and propose solutions
- Track QA metrics (e.g., defect density, bug leakage, open defects)
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools, frameworks, and strategies
- Background in Software Engineering / Computer Science / related field
- Fresh graduates or candidates with internship experience are welcome, especially those with QA exposure
- Prior experience in QA / Software Testing (Automation) is preferred
- Familiar with programming (preferably Java)
- Experience in building automation using Cypress or Robot Framework
- Knowledge of Robot Framework is a plus
- Hands-on experience in white box testing
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and structured test cases
- Basic knowledge of SQL and scripting
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Curious mindset and willingness to learn / explore new technologies
