Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) – Web3 at BairesDev

In this role, you'll design and build full-stack automated test suites for decentralized Web3 applications, acting as a quality gatekeeper across API, UI, and CLI layers. Combining SDET engineering rigor with Web3 domain knowledge, you'll diagnose issues in distributed systems and establish testing strategies that ensure correctness and reliability in environments where bugs can have significant consequences. What You'll Do:

- Design and implement comprehensive automated test suites covering API, UI, and CLI layers of decentralized Web3 applications.
- Establish and maintain testing strategies for distributed systems and blockchain services.
- Diagnose and triage issues across Web3 protocols and RPC services.
- Act as a quality gatekeeper across engineering workflows.
- Collaborate with developers to embed testing practices throughout the development lifecycle.

What we are looking for:

- 5+ years of experience in software engineering or test engineering.
- Strong SDET skills, including automated test suite development across API, UI, and CLI.
- Experience with Web3 applications and decentralized system testing.
- Understanding of blockchain protocols and RPC services.
- Background diagnosing issues in distributed or decentralized environments.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
