About the Role

We are looking for a UI Developer (SDE-1) to design, build, and maintain scalable and high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate should be able to independently own feature development and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend applications
• Build reusable, modular, and maintainable UI components.
• Develop applications using JavaScript and TypeScript following engineering best

practices.

• Integrate and consume backend REST APIs, including data handling and error

management.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, Backend Engineers, and QA teams

throughout the development lifecycle.

• Translate business requirements into technical implementations.
• Optimize application performance, bundle size, and page load times.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
• Write unit tests and participate in peer code reviews.
• Follow coding standards, accessibility guidelines, and security best practices.
• Participate in Agile planning, estimation, and sprint execution.
• Contribute to frontend architecture discussions and technical decisions.

Qualifications Required

• 2 to 5 years of frontend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Angular and/or React.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and responsive design principles.
• Experience integrating backend REST APIs.
• Experience with Git, code reviews, and collaborative development workflows.
• Understanding of state management libraries (NgRx, Redux, Context API).
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

• Experience with Angular, Micro Frontends or Module Federation.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of frontend security and accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Exposure to monitoring and observability tools.
