Software Development Engineer – Mobile Applications

You will be a key player in our agile product development team, driving the evolution of our mobile app platform. Your work will directly impact how our users experience sound – from consumer hearing solutions to professional medical devices. You will collaborate with international development partners, evaluate cuttingedge technologies, and take ownership of our native HarmonyOS app, ensuring seamless integration with our broader product portfolio.

Based in Guangzhou, you will report to the Manager CDDA and work closely with crossfunctional teams including embedded software, cloud, DSP, and system engineering.

More about the role:

  • In this role, you will be the technical backbone of our mobile application development, ensuring highquality, scalable, and innovative solutions.

  • Development & Optimisation: Design, develop, and continuously improve our mobile app platform within a selforganised, agile project team.

  • Partner Collaboration: Support and coordinate with international development service providers – evaluating their deliverables and integrating them into our apps and solutions.

  • Crossfunctional Expertise: Act as a crossfunctional expert, helping other product development teams resolve complex crosssystem issues.

  • Technology Exploration: Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and patterns, and drive their adoption into our implementation roadmap.

  • HarmonyOS Native Development: Develop and maintain our native HarmonyOS app, and enable robust integration with the entire product portfolio.

More about you:

  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Experience: At least 3 years of handson experience in mobile application development.

  • Technical Mastery: Proven top technical knowledge in fullstack web and mobile development, with strong competence in modern programming languages, tools, and stateoftheart technologies.

  • ProblemSolving: A successful track record of solving complex technical problems, both individually and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple product development activities simultaneously, prioritising effectively in a fastpaced environment.

  • Industry Insight: Experience or strong interest in communication, audio, consumer electronics, automotive, or information technology sectors is preferred.

  • Language & Communication: Fluent in English (written and spoken) to collaborate seamlessly with international partners and internal global teams.
