Work and chip in toward the engineering of Apple's innovative products involving video, audio, and graphics in the Media Graphics Compute (MGC) team. MGC is one of Apple's Software Engineering divisions and provides the media, graphics and compute foundation across Apple’s innovative products, including iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, Mac, HomePod, and CarPlay.

We are looking for an Automation & Tools Engineer who will expand our automation and tooling infrastructure, supporting the latest Apple hardware and software. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing team and have a large impact across multiple Apple platforms and products.

In this role you will maintain and extend existing automation and tooling infrastructure, as well as propose and deliver brand-new initiatives. You'll work with a small, hardworking, and motivated team that operates like a startup within Apple. The ideal candidate will be innovative, organized, a self-starter with excellent social skills, and have a keen attention to detail.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience with automated testing and software development with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Python, Swift, shell scripting or equivalent programming skills
  • Experience developing and understanding test frameworks and libraries
  • Proficiency in writing automated testing scripts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with GenAI assisted development
  • Experience with tools like Ansible, Splunk, Grafana and Wireshark
