Software Development Manager, Offers Platform, Catalog Systems, ASCS
As the vending surface of Catalog Systems, the Catalog Vending team sits at the core of Amazon.com, serving billions of requests per second at single-digit-millisecond P99 latency. We are the authority for the critical product and purchasing data — availability, buyability, price, and relationships — that every shopping surface depends on. Our software runs in a distributed, highly performant, highly available micro-service system over billions of records, and our clients are thousands of internal teams and the surfaces that reach customers: Amazon.com, Kindle, Alexa, Groceries, and the new generation of agentic shopping experiences. Owning one of Amazon's most critical Tier-1 services, we play an active role in design and consultation across the company to enable new business use-cases at Amazon.com's scale.
