Software Development Manager ( Temenos, Digital Channels, Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Banking, TAP, TCMB, Azure)
Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, implementation, and enhancement of Temenos-based digital banking solutions across Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Wealth Management, and Core Banking environments.
Drive technical delivery across Temenos Transact, TAP, TCIB, TCMB, WSC/OCS, and UXP platforms.
Design and develop scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot, with a focus on microservices-based architectures.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, including services supporting Temenos and external banking applications.
Lead integration of digital banking platforms with internal and third-party systems using IBM MQ, SOAP Web Services, REST APIs, and other integration mechanisms.
Support and enhance Temenos Wealth Suite capabilities, including portfolio management and order management functions.
Lead technical implementation of Order Management workflows and integrations across digital and wealth banking channels.
Implement secure authentication and access management solutions, including SSO, Azure AD, Kerberos, and related authentication mechanisms.
Contribute to Temenos Transact implementations, customizations, integrations, and cloud deployments.
Support deployment and integration of Temenos solutions within Azure Cloud environments.
Work closely with business, architecture, product, and engineering teams to translate banking requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Provide technical leadership during implementation, upgrades, integration activities, troubleshooting, and production support.
Ensure application quality through appropriate unit, API, integration, and performance testing using tools such as JUnit, Mockito, SoapUI, Postman, and JMeter.
Review technical designs, development approaches, integration patterns, and implementation standards to ensure maintainable and reliable solutions.
Requirements
10+ years of experience in software engineering, banking technology, digital channels, or Temenos-based implementations.
Strong hands-on experience with Temenos Banking platforms, particularly Transact, TAP, TCIB, TCMB, WSC/OCS, and UXP.
Strong experience in Digital Banking Channels, including Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, and Wealth Management solutions.
Strong programming experience in Java, with hands-on expertise in Spring Boot and enterprise application development.
Solid experience designing and developing microservices and REST APIs.
Experience with Temenos API/integration services such as IRIS, along with external system integrations.
Strong Experience of Temenos Wealth Suite, particularly WSC/OCS, portfolio management, and order management.
Experience with Temenos Transact implementations, customizations, and integrations.
Hands-on experience with integration technologies such as IBM MQ and SOAP Web Services.
Experience implementing authentication and SSO solutions, including Azure AD and Kerberos.
Experience with Azure Cloud and cloud-based deployment of banking/Temenos solutions.
Experience of Core Banking concepts and integration with digital banking channels.
Strong SQL knowledge and experience working with enterprise applications and databases.
Experience with software quality and testing tools such as JUnit, Mockito, SoapUI, Postman, or JMeter.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to work independently while providing technical guidance and leadership to development and implementation teams.
