SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT SUPERVISOR
Description
Salary: ₱80,000 – ₱100,000 per month
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides technical leadership and mentors all team members on coding standards, best practices, technical patterns, and project delivery methodologies.
Leads the development of web and desktop solutions using the Microsoft Development Stack, assigning work based on individual and team strengths while managing both internal and external software development projects.
Ensures expertise in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, test automation, continuous integration, and coordination with third-party development partners.
Develops, motivates, mentors, and coaches team members to deliver cutting-edge solutions and ensures the highest quality releases through comprehensive testing and quality assurance practices.
Acts as a catalyst for continuous improvement in the solution portfolio and development processes, while managing external vendors, stakeholders, and project deliverables to ensure successful project execution.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a Software Development managerial position, with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field.
Proven experience supervising development teams, overseeing the entire software development lifecycle and technology strategy, providing technical guidance and mentorship, and managing multiple internal and external projects.
Proficient in system architecture (e.g., microservices), cloud platforms, and development using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, MS SQL Server, Web Services, and WCF for both web and desktop applications.
Skilled in managing software development processes, including design, testing, documentation, version control using GitHub (or equivalent), and QA management using JIRA (or equivalent); experience managing third-party vendors and outsourced development teams is an advantage.
Exhibits strong organizational, analytical, communication, stakeholder management and project management skills, proactive, detail-oriented, willing to extend working hours as necessary, and capable of managing external project engagements. AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.
