About Our Client / About the Role
Our client develops advanced electronic test and measurement products. This role sets the architecture for Windows-based embedded software platforms and guides secure, reliable software delivery across engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Define embedded Windows architecture, platform roadmap and technical standards.
- Guide design of applications, common libraries, services and lower-level software components.
- Lead hardware and software integration, device communication, diagnostics and recovery design.
- Improve build systems, CI/CD, installers, updates and long-term platform servicing.
- Guide security and component governance, mentor engineers and resolve complex design trade-offs.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer, electrical or electronics engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline.
- Typically at least ten years in embedded software, firmware, Windows system-level development or related engineering roles.
- Strong C/C++, object-oriented design and multithreaded Windows software development.
- Proven architecture of complex Windows-based embedded systems, including performance, reliability and security.
- Hands-on embedded or industrial Windows experience and understanding of services, drivers, debugging and release practices.
- Ability to lead technical strategy and work across engineering disciplines.
Remuneration Package
RM15,000–RM17,040 per month.
