Required Qualifications
- TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly
- Twenty (20) years of experience as a Software Engineer (SWE) supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Four (4) additional years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Required Technical Skills
- Minimum of eight (8) years in software development/engineering across the full SDLC.
- At least six (6) years of experience with high-level languages (e.g., Java, C, C++).
- At least five (5) years developing software for UNIX/Linux (specifically RedHat versions) environments.
- Demonstrated ability in the requirements analysis and design of at least one major Object-Oriented system.
Desired Technical Skills
- Graph Data Modeling & Performance: Experience designing and optimizing complex graph schemas in Neo4j. Proficiency with Cypher query optimization, index management, and utilizing APOC procedures for batching and large-scale data transformations.
- Enterprise Java Microservices: Advanced development using the Spring Boot ecosystem (Spring Data, Spring Security, Spring Cloud). Experience implementing robust, scalable backend services with a focus on high-concurrency and performance tuning.
- Graph-Relational Integration: Demonstrated work experience integrating graph databases with traditional RDBMS or search engines (like Elasticsearch) to create polyglot persistence architecture.
- Graph Analytics & Algorithms: Familiarity with the Neo4j Graph Data Science (GDS) library to implement pathfinding, centrality, or community detection algorithms for real-time analysis.
- Advanced Analytics: Developing data-driven or event-driven analytics orchestrated through rules engines.
- Cloud Scalability: Understanding of massive scalability patterns used by industry leaders (Amazon, Google, etc.).
- AI & Pattern Discovery: Experience with genetic algorithms, inference engines, or identifying latent patterns in datasets exceeding 10 Petabytes.
