This role is based in Galway and operates under a hybrid working model.
Responsibilities- Full Lifecycle Development: Lead technical design, development, testing, and delivery of new features and improvements.
- DevOps & Microservices: Help lead the operational side of a highly available microservice architecture.
- Embrace AI Technology: Leverage transformative AI technologies to accelerate team productivity and delivery of customer features.
- Adaptable & Problem‑Solver: Tackle varied and challenging problems daily, fostering flexibility, data‑driven focus on quality, and rapid skill acquisition.
- Ownership & Quality: Take responsibility for leading tasks from building new functionality to developing automated tests and investigating issues with high attention to detail.
- Support & Growth: Receive dedicated mentorship and formal training from a supportive team of engineers to accelerate skill development.
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in an analytical field (e.g., Computer Science, Electronic or Software Engineering).
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience in software development.
- Extensive architecture and programming experience with a willingness to learn new technologies quickly.
- Ability to apply a scientific approach and creative problem‑solving to complex problems.
- Adaptable and collaborative, thriving in diverse teams and communicating clearly and precisely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to continuous learning and quality results.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in one or more of the following languages: Java, Python, C++, JavaScript.
- Experience with data science / AI.
- Familiarity with Git, DevOps practices, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
