Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that support scientific research and business operations.
- Collaborate with software engineers, scientists, and product teams to deliver solutions that address real-world challenges.
- Learn and apply modern technologies such as cloud platforms, AI-assisted development tools, web frameworks, and data platforms.
- Contribute to applications built using technologies such as AWS, React, Python, Databricks, Power Platform, GitHub, and SharePoint.
- Support the adoption of AI-enabled solutions and explore emerging technologies that can create business value.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.
- Document solutions and share knowledge with team members.
- Contribute to Agile product teams through planning, development, and delivery activities.
Education Minimum Requirement
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Required Experience And Skills
- Understanding of software development fundamentals, including programming, testing, debugging, and version control.
- Curiosity, creativity, and a desire to learn new technologies.
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
Preferred Experience And Skills
- Experience through coursework, internships, co-op programs, research projects, open-source contributions, or personal projects.
- Exposure to one or more of the following technologies: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, AWS, Azure, Databricks, GitHub, or Power Platform.
- Interest in AI, data analytics, cloud computing, or scientific computing.
- Background or interest in life sciences, bioinformatics, computational chemistry, or related scientific disciplines.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices.

Salary Range
The salary range for this role is $87,300.00 - $137,400.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
