We're looking for a driven Software Engineer to join an emerging AI & Digital Centre of Excellence and play a foundational role in building scalable digital and AI-powered systems. This is an exciting opportunity to help transition early-stage GenAI prototypes into robust, production-ready platforms while shaping the future of healthcare technology.
What You'll Do
Build and maintain backend systems using Python, APIs, and cloud-based applications
Design and develop user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks
Collaborate with product, data, and R&D teams to define system requirements
Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security
Implement CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and monitoring tools
Manage cloud infrastructure and contribute to architecture decisions
Support AI-enabled systems and internal digital platforms
Maintain clear technical documentation and system diagrams
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
3+ years of professional software engineering experience
Strong fundamentals in system design, APIs, and data structures
Proficiency in Python and backend frameworks (e.g., FastAPI)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or OCI)
Familiarity with Docker, Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
Understanding of security and handling sensitive data
Ability to work independently and deliver production-ready solutions
