Summary

An AI software engineer who designs, develops, and evaluates machine learning and deep learning models for cardiac CT image analysis, using Python and PyTorch. Day to day involves data preprocessing, integrating AI models into the MedClarity software, documenting experiments, and collaborating with clinicians, engineers, and regulatory specialists.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing, developing, and evaluating machine learning and deep learning models for cardiac CT image analysis.
  • Work with frameworks such as PyTorch to implement and optimize AI algorithms.
  • Support data preprocessing, annotation, and preparation for model training.
  • Contribute to integration of AI models into MedClarity’s software systems.
  • Document workflows, experiments, and findings clearly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinicians, software engineers, and regulatory specialists.

Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 3-5 years experience.
  • Programming experience with Python (C++ is a plus). Hands-on experience with PyTorch.
  • Familiarity with machine learning or deep learning concepts (coursework or project experience).
  • Good problem-solving abilities and willingness to learn.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Familiarity with human anatomy, image processing techniques, and medical imaging modalities (a plus).
  • Exposure to federated learning, explainable AI, or regulatory frameworks (e.g., FDA, CE) is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and containerization technologies is a bonus.
