Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer with a strong background in Java (Spring Boot) and cloud infrastructure to support payment and subscription platforms. You'll be instrumental in building and maintaining robust, scalable systems that process high volumes of transactions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services supporting payment operations, PSP integrations, and subscription systems.
- Provide technical support for finance, anti-fraud, tax, and fulfilment teams.
- Collaborate with the Payment Operations team to ensure smooth daily transaction processing and system reliability.
- Handle system maintenance and performance tuning for high-volume environments.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for payment and subscription services.
- Occasionally participate in on-call rotation to provide live system support and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Java (SpringBoot) – Strong hands-on experience in developing scalable Microservices
- AWS Cloud – Proficient in deploying and managing services on AWS Infrastructure
- Databases – Experience in Relational and Non-Relational database; with MongoDB and PostgreSQL in production environments
- RESTful API services - Design, develop, and maintain APIs that follow the REST architectural style. Ensure these APIs are scalable, secure, and provide a robust interface for communication between applications and services.
- High Performance Systems – Essential to have experience with working on large scale systems that deal with large amounts of requests and high volume of transactions
