Software Engineer Analyst - Java
Summary

Job Summary
The purpose of this role is to design, code, test, correct, and document complex programs and scripts based on agreed specifications and standards. The role involves collaborating with team members in reviewing specifications and ensuring the successful implementation of software solutions. Additionally, the role includes analysing business requirements and implementing Servicenow solutions in alignment with business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
Build and enhance responsive web applications using Angular, React, or both.
Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Write clean, maintainable, secure, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices.
Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and application support.
Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Qualifications:
Minimum3 years’ experiencein full-stack software development.
Strong proficiency inJavawith experience developing enterprise applications usingSpring Boot.
Experience in modern front-end development usingAngular,React, or both.
Solid knowledge ofTypeScript,JavaScript,HTML, andCSS.
Experience in designing, developing, and consumingRESTful APIsand web services.
Familiarity with relational databases such asOracleandIBM DB2.
Proficient with development tools such asIntelliJ IDEA,Maven, and version control systems likeGit.
Good understanding ofObject-Oriented Programming (OOP), software design principles, and common design patterns.
Experience working inAgile/Scrumenvironments and following SDLC best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
