Software Engineer (Apache Knox) at BairesDev
As a Software Engineer specializing in Apache Knox, you will manage the security gateway for Hadoop clusters. You will serve as a key link between complex big data infrastructure and secure user access, handling authentication, token management, and API gateway configurations to ensure a protected data ecosystem
What You'll Do:
- Design, deploy, and manage Apache Knox instances as the primary security gateway for Hadoop clusters.
- Configure and maintain authentication and authorization providers to ensure secure access to data services.
- Implement and manage token-based authentication and identity assertion for seamless service integration.
- Develop and optimize API gateway configurations to protect and scale access to Hadoop REST APIs.
- Monitor and troubleshoot gateway performance and security logs to ensure high availability and compliance.
What we are looking for:
- 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or Systems Security.
- Proven expertise in managing Apache Knox as a security gateway for Hadoop clusters.
- Proficiency in configuring authentication, token management, and API gateway policies.
- Hands-on experience with Hadoop ecosystem security and directory service integrations.
- Strong background in managing secure access to distributed data services.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
