Software Engineer (Apache Ranger) at BairesDev
As a Software Engineer specializing in Apache Ranger, you will implement and manage robust data security frameworks across the Hadoop ecosystem. You will play a critical role in enforcing fine-grained authorization and comprehensive auditing to protect organizational data assets.
What You'll Do:
- Design and implement centralized security policies using Apache Ranger to manage access across Hadoop clusters.
- Configure and maintain Ranger security zones and auditing modules to ensure data governance and compliance.
- Integrate Apache Ranger with diverse Hadoop components to provide a unified authorization layer.
- Collaborate with data engineers to define and enforce access control requirements for sensitive datasets.
- Monitor and analyze security audit trails to identify potential policy violations and ensure system integrity.
What we are looking for:
- 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or Data Security.
- Proven expertise in implementing data security and fine-grained authorization using Apache Ranger.
- Proficiency in managing security policies and auditing across the Hadoop ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with core Hadoop technologies and distributed system security.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
