- Investigation of sophisticated technical challenges across software layers, identifying root causes and leading resolution of performance, efficiency, and security issues
- Participation in code reviews on both internal and external forums
- Proficiency in C and C++
- Strong understanding of OS internals such as memory management, scheduling, or virtualisation
- Outstanding problem-solving skills
- Structured approach to debugging sophisticated low-level software issues
- Experience in technical discussions, code reviews, and upstream teamwork in open-source projects
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Confident written and spoken English
- Familiarity with Android internals
- Familiarity with at least one CPU architecture, preferably Armv8-A or newer
- Basic experience with scripting languages and/or Python
