Summary

Associate Software Engineer on Infor's Liaison product team in Bengaluru, building and maintaining enterprise .NET applications and REST/SOAP backend services deployed on AWS. Day-to-day spans the full SDLC: coding in C#/.NET Core, cloud-native AWS development, debugging, code reviews, and performance tuning.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Associate Software Engineer to join our Liaison Product Development Team. The ideal candidate will have around 1 year of hands-on experience in Microsoft .NET technologies and cloud-based application development using AWS. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of enterprise-grade applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain features for the Liaison product using Microsoft .NET technologies.
  • Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirement analysis, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Design and develop RESTful and SOAP APIs and backend services.
  • Collaborate with product owners, QA engineers, and team members to understand business requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Support cloud-native application development and deployment on AWS.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in development, test, and production environments.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in monitoring application performance and implementing optimizations where needed.

  • 1+ year of experience in software development using Microsoft .NET Framework/.NET Core/.NET 6+.
  • Strong knowledge of C#, OOP concepts, and design principles.
  • Experience developing REST APIs and web services.
  • Understanding of SQL Server and database design concepts.
  • Basic knowledge of AWS services, such as:
    • EC2
    • S3
    • RDS
    • Lambda
    • CloudWatch
  • Familiarity with source control tools such as TFS & Git.
  • Understanding of CI/CD concepts and deployment processes.

  • Knowledge of ASP.NET Core MVC or Web API.
  • Exposure to container technologies such as Docker.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest.

    Educational Qualification

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
