Software Engineer, Associate
Summary
Entry-level (0–1 year) software engineer role on Infor's product development team in Hyderabad or Bangalore, building and maintaining modules for scalable, secure multi-tenant cloud and on-premises web applications. Core stack: C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, Angular, RESTful APIs, PostgreSQL/SQL Server, plus AI-assisted SDLC practices.
In this role, the candidate will contribute to designing, developing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining product modules for scalable, secure web applications. They will participate in daily scrums, communicate progress clearly, adopt AI-assisted SDLC practices responsibly, and work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams.
The candidate may work on either the multi-tenant cloud-hosted application or the on-premises application, gaining exposure to modern technologies including .NET Core, ASP.NET, Angular, RESTful APIs, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and cloud services.
- 0 to 1 year of software development experience, including academic projects, internships, bootcamps, formal training, or hands-on work experience
- Hands-on knowledge or training in Angular 20 and above, C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, RESTful APIs, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server
- Ability to write, understand, and troubleshoot basic application code and database queries
- Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of secure coding practices and willingness to learn security tools and development standards
- Ability and willingness to adopt AI-assisted SDLC practices for coding, testing, documentation, analysis, and productivity improvement while following team standards and review processes
- Keen eye for detail to review, validate, and improve AI-generated code, test cases, documentation, and recommendations before using them in product development
- Exposure to cloud services and modern web application development is preferred
- Strong learning mindset, ownership, and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
- Demonstrate curiosity, adaptability, attention to detail, and a positive attitude while learning new tools, technologies, and product areas

- 0 to 1 year of experience in software development, or equivalent hands-on training in relevant technologies
