Software engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining source code aligned with our development roadmap and software development standards.

Qualifications and ideal experience required B. Eng in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. At least 3-5 years of software development experience. Technical skills required Proficiency in Java, C#, and C++ for software product development. Strong understanding of relational and No SQL databases. Familiarity with tools such as Eclipse, Intelli J, VS Code, Sonarlint, Git, SVN, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Sonarqube. Ability to optimize code to meet stakeholder expectations and technical requirements. Key responsibility areas 1. Software Design Process Design software based on user and functional requirements. Document implementation plans and break down tasks using Jira or Confluence. Estimate task effort and remain within allocated hours. Provide design input for product development. 2. Development Process Develop functionality aligned with sprint goals and deadlines. Identify and report bugs to the Team Lead. Participate in sprint reviews and update task progress. Develop modular, maintainable, secure, and reusable code following established standards. Conduct software code reviews and implement unit testing. Ensure thorough testing of software within the system context before release. Commit source code regularly to repositories. EEO statement
