Summary
Backend/fullstack software engineer at a Hong Kong IT consulting firm, designing and maintaining services in Java Spring Boot and/or Golang (plus React JS on the fullstack track), with system design, troubleshooting, code reviews, and Agile delivery. Open to strong fresh graduates; Cantonese, Mandarin, and English required.
Job Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend services and applications using Java Spring Boot and/or Golang
Participate in system analysis, technical design, and solution implementation
Collaborate with team members to deliver features in an Agile environment
Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and propose effective solutions independently
Support code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement of development practices
(For Fullstack track) Develop and maintain frontend components using React JS in conjunction with backend services
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
1+ years of relevant hands-on experience (fresh graduates with solid project experience will be considered)
Solid experience in Java Spring Boot or Golang (candidates with strong Java Spring Boot experience and willingness to learn Golang are also welcome)
For Fullstack track: Experience in React JS + Java Spring Boot
Recent commercial / client project experience preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to troubleshoot independently and propose solutions
Experience working in an Agile development environment
Experience leading junior developers or collaborating with offshore teams is a plus
Proficient in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English
Immediate availability preferred
