About the role

Join the Insurance Operations team within GrabFin to build systems that expand financial access across Southeast Asia. You will focus on the technical infrastructure for insurance accounting, regulatory reporting, and external partner connectivity.

What you’ll do

• Architect and build backend services for accounting, reporting, and integration platforms.
• Manage regulatory compliance integrations with entities such as ISM, APAD, and JPJ.
• Write and maintain high-quality code while participating in peer code reviews.
• Collaborate across departments to design, ship, and troubleshoot new features.
• Provide input on system architecture and technical strategy.
• Join on-call rotations to maintain service uptime and reliability.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java or Golang.
• Practical knowledge of relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures.
• Hands-on experience deploying on AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to apply SOLID principles and clean architecture patterns to your work.

• Previous experience working with financial or regulatory software systems.
