Would you like to build the backend platform behind some of the most well-known media brands in the Netherlands?
Talpa Network is one of the leading media companies in the Netherlands, reaching millions of users through our websites, apps, audio platforms and video services. We are currently bringing a significant part of our backend development back in-house and are expanding our Backend Services team with several new hires.
You will join our BSD (Backend Services) team, which is responsible for the backend of the Web Experience platform. Together with your colleagues, you will build and maintain services that power multimedia content, including audio, video, video players and news-related functionality across our high-traffic platforms.
Your profile:
- 3+ years of professional experience with Node.js and TypeScript
- Experience with AWS and cloud-native development
- Experience with CI/CD and automated deployments (GitLab is a plus)
- Strong English or Dutch communication skills and comfortable sharing your opinion in technical discussions
Our team works with a modern, fully Serverless AWS environment using Node.js and TypeScript. This is a role for someone who enjoys ownership and wants to have a direct impact on both the product and our underlying platform.
