Software Engineer (Behavior Evaluation) at BairesDev
As a Software Engineer (Behavior Evaluation), you will focus on the validation of autonomous vehicle behaviors through advanced simulation and data analysis. You will ensure the safety and reliability of autonomous systems by creating rigorous testing environments and evaluating complex driving scenarios.
What You'll Do:
- Design and implement automated simulation pipelines to validate autonomous vehicle behaviors.
- Develop diverse and realistic driving scenarios.
- Orchestrate large-scale data analysis to identify edge cases and performance bottlenecks in offline evaluations.
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines to streamline the verification and validation process.
- Collaborate with autonomy teams to define success metrics and verification standards for on-vehicle logic.
- Ensure the continuous improvement of evaluation tools to enhance the fidelity of simulated environments.
What we are looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, specifically in autonomous vehicle validation or simulation pipelines.
- Proven expertise in Python and simulation frameworks such as CARLA or NVIDIA DRIVE Sim.
- Hands-on experience with scenario design, generation, and validation for autonomous driving systems.
- Strong background in large-scale data analysis and maintaining scalable data pipelines.
- Proficiency in offline evaluation and verification of autonomous vehicle behaviors.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
