Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Software Engineer to join our development team in Karachi. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in programming, a willingness to learn new technologies, and the ability to work collaboratively with senior developers to build and maintain high-quality software applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications.
- Write clean, readable, and maintainable code under the guidance of senior developers.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and fix basic software bugs and technical issues.
- Assist in developing and integrating APIs and database solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
- Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements.
- Write and maintain technical documentation.
- Learn and implement new tools, frameworks, and technologies.
- Participate in team meetings and Agile/Scrum development activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Basic knowledge of at least one programming language, such as JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, or PHP.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming and fundamental data structures.
- Basic knowledge of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
- Basic understanding of APIs, software testing, and debugging.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship experience or personal software development projects.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as React, Node.js, Django, .NET, or Spring Boot.
- Basic understanding of web development and responsive design.
