Software Engineer

• Commercial experience building and supporting production web applications
• Strong, modern Angular experience, including components, routing, forms, dependency injection, RxJS and state management
• Excellent HTML and CSS skills, with a practical understanding of accessibility standards and responsive design
• Experience integrating with REST APIs, including securely handling authentication, errors and asynchronous data
• A testing mindset, with unit, component and end-to-end tests as part of your work
• Confidence diagnosing live issues and a good understanding of frontend security
• Clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical choices to technical and non-technical audiences
• Mid-level or senior engineering experience
• Nice to have: design system experience
• Nice to have: experience with Jest, Jasmine, Cypress, Playwright or similar
• Nice to have: experience with NgRx or Angular signals
• Nice to have: web performance optimisation and tools such as Sentry
• Nice to have: Docker, AWS and modern deployment pipelines
• Nice to have: experience in agile, product-led or data-rich B2B environments

• Design, build and maintain responsive, accessible web applications using Angular and TypeScript
• Own features end to end, from technical refinement through deployment and monitoring
• Work with product, UX/design, QA, platform and backend colleagues to turn user needs into well-crafted interfaces
• Build reusable, consistent components and contribute to sound frontend architecture
• Make considered trade-offs across usability, security, performance and delivery
• Participate in code reviews, improve test automation and CI/CD, and share knowledge across the team
