A senior full-stack engineer (5+ years) who builds and deploys cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform using Java/Spring Boot, React, and PostgreSQL, while leading migration of legacy ASP.NET/C# and SQL Server systems. Day to day involves CI/CD automation with GitHub Actions, automated testing, code reviews, and Agile sprints with distributed teams across Mexico, the US, and India.
- Architect, build, and deploy full-stack cloud applications using Java, React, PostgreSQL, and Google Cloud Run
- Lead migration and modernization of legacy ASP.NET/C# backends and SQL Server databases into cloud-native services
- Design, configure, and maintain CI/CD automation pipelines using GitHub Actions, API security tooling, and automated testing suites
- Author unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure code coverage, reliability, and security compliance
- Partner with product managers, business stakeholders, and global engineering squads across Mexico, the US, and India
- Translate complex business requirements into user-friendly software solutions
- Champion Agile engineering practices within bi-weekly sprints
- Lead story mapping, technical documentation, and code reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- Typically 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience
- Hands-on experience migrating enterprise applications to cloud environments
- Proficiency in modern Java development, such as Spring Boot
- Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform services, such as Cloud Run and Cloud SQL
- Foundational experience with C# / .NET and relational databases, including PostgreSQL and SQL Server
- Working knowledge of React or Angular
- RESTful API design experience
- XML/JSON data processing experience
- Git-based workflow experience
- Experience implementing automated CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub Actions
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery teams across distributed global time zones
- Professional working proficiency in English, verbal and written
- Google Cloud Platform professional or associate certification is desirable
- Experience with API security auditing tools such as 42Crunch and automated contract testing is desirable
- Root Cause Analysis or Lean / Six Sigma experience is desirable
- Master’s degree is desirable
