\nAbout the Role
\nWe are looking for a Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in C#/.NET development to build and support Level 2 automation systems for industrial and manufacturing environments. Candidates with 1+ year of experience and relevant industrial/manufacturing exposure may also be considered.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Design, develop, and maintain Level 2 Automation Systems for industrial and manufacturing plants. \n
- Build applications for process monitoring, production tracking, reporting, alarm management, data logging, and process optimization. \n
- Develop enterprise-grade applications using C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, ASP.NET, Windows Services, and REST APIs. \n
- Develop communication interfaces between PLCs, SCADA, MES, ERP, Laboratory Systems, Continuous Casters, and other industrial equipment. \n
- Design and manage databases using Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle. \n
- Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and database schemas. \n
- Develop data acquisition, processing, and integration modules for real-time plant operations. \n
- Participate in system architecture discussions and contribute to scalable, high-performance solutions. \n
- Perform testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. \n
- Support onsite commissioning, deployment, system integration, and production stabilization at customer locations. \n
- Collaborate with automation engineers, plant teams, project managers, and other stakeholders. \n
- Integrate third-party industrial systems and devices using industrial communication protocols and APIs. \n
- Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and user manuals. \n
- Provide post-implementation support and recommend continuous improvements. \n
- Follow coding standards, software quality practices, and project timelines. \n
- Stay updated on Industrial Automation, Smart Manufacturing, Industrial IoT, and Digital Transformation technologies. \n
Mandatory Requirements
\n- \n
- 2+ years of hands-on software development experience in C#/.NET with strong programming fundamentals. \n
- Strong working knowledge of C#/.NET Framework and/or .NET Core, including ASP.NET, Windows Services, and REST APIs. \n
- Ability to independently write, understand, explain, and debug production-level application code. \n
- Practical experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle, including queries, stored procedures, triggers, and database schema design. \n
- Experience building, delivering, or supporting enterprise-grade applications. \n
- Comfortable working in a client-facing environment. \n
- B.E./B.Tech or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline. \n
- Exposure to Level 2 / Industrial Automation systems is highly preferred. \n

- Candidates with 1+ year of experience may also be considered if they have relevant industrial/manufacturing domain exposure. \n
Ideal Candidate: A hands-on C#/.NET Software Engineer with strong SQL skills and enterprise application experience, preferably with exposure to industrial automation, manufacturing, MES, SCADA, PLC, or Level 2 systems.
