🚀 About the Role

Join a technology-driven engineering team specialising in advanced semiconductor testing equipment and precision automation solutions. We are seeking an experienced C# Software Engineer with a strong background in semiconductor equipment or industrial automation.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Software Development: Design, develop and maintain equipment control software, core modules and user interfaces using C# and .NET.

• Equipment Control & Integration: Develop control logic and integrate software with motion control systems, machine vision, cameras, sensors and I/O modules.

• Hardware Communication: Develop and maintain communication interfaces using serial communication, TCP/IP, Ethernet and other relevant protocols.

• Equipment Testing & Troubleshooting: Understand equipment operations and applications, diagnose software and hardware integration issues, and ensure reliable equipment performance.

• System Optimisation: Improve software responsiveness, stability and processing efficiency while resolving complex system integration and concurrency issues.

• Full Product Lifecycle: Participate in requirements analysis, software design, development, testing, deployment and equipment commissioning.

• Technical Documentation: Prepare software design documents, interface specifications, technical reports and user manuals.

• Customer-Site Support: Support equipment installation, software deployment, commissioning and troubleshooting at customer sites, including overseas assignments.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of commercial software development experience using C#, including at least 3 years in semiconductor equipment, industrial automation, precision equipment or instrumentation.

• Strong C# programming skills are mandatory.

• Proficient in .NET Framework and modern .NET technologies.

• Relevant experience in the semiconductor equipment or industrial automation industry is required.

• Able to understand equipment operations, control logic and applications, beyond software coding alone.

• Experience integrating software with hardware components and industrial communication protocols.

• Knowledge of C++ and SQL/database development is advantageous.

• Experience with WinForms or WPF is preferred.

• Familiarity with motion control systems, machine vision, sensors and equipment testing is an advantage.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and collaboration skills.

• Willing to travel overseas for equipment deployment, commissioning and customer-site technical support when required.
