Location: Liverpool
Salary: £45,000-55,000 per annum
A growing tech company based in Liverpool is looking for a Software Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to become involved in a ground-breaking company where the diagnostic software you develop will help improve the lives of people around the world. You will use your expertise to write efficient, polished code whilst also being involved in responsibilities such as troubleshooting, documentation, and solution design.
You will be enthusiastic about working closely in a team, helping to mentor junior colleagues, promote best-practices and coding standards, and introduce fresh ideas.
Essential skillset:
- Previous experience with commercial software development
- Expert knowledge of Python and frameworks
- Strong background in modern JavaScript and frameworks, particularly Typescript and React
- Confident in written and verbal communication
- Excellent organisational skills
- Demonstrated team-player
Desirable:
- Experience of Electron / cross-platform desktop applications
- Experience in Machine Learning
- Familiarity with Azure
- Previous experience developing software in a regulated or safety-sensitive environment
- Previous experience implementing and validating scientific or numerical algorithms
