What you'll do
- Partner with product managers and designers to translate business needs into functional technical solutions.
- Build and maintain software systems in cooperation with various government agencies.
- Implement modern development practices and adopt current technologies throughout the software lifecycle.
- Provide constructive feedback during code reviews to maintain high codebase standards.
- Engage in scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Take part in technical knowledge sharing and solution design sessions.
Requirements
- Experience building and maintaining large-scale, high-availability software systems.
- Proficiency in full-stack web development, specifically front-end frameworks like Next.js, React.js, Nuxt, or Vue.js and back-end languages including Java, TypeScript, Node.js, or Golang.
- Experience managing SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Practical knowledge of cloud platforms, with a preference for AWS, though Azure and GCP experience is accepted.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration via Docker or Kubernetes.
- Ability to write thorough unit and integration tests.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as the ELK stack, AWS CloudWatch, or Splunk.
