Software Engineer (Cloud&DevOps)

We are looking for a Mid-level Software Engineer (Cloud&DevOps) with a developer background to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working close to the code, understands modern cloud-native architectures, and is actively embracing agentic and AI-assisted development as part of their daily work.
About The Role
As a Software Engineer (Cloud&DevOps), you will be a key contributor in designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and deployment technology for our cloud-native identity platform. You’ll collaborate closely with developers, testers, technical writers, and the Engineering Manager to build reliable, secure, and highly automated environments.
Please note that this position is hybrid, we are looking for a person who’s looking forward to joining our lively office community in Alicante (Spain) or Warsaw (Poland) office for at least 2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain product functionality alongside software engineers in the product engineering organization.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes and automation used to deliver our software.
- Deploy and operate applications in Microsoft Azure and AKS/Kubernetes.
- Automate infrastructure and environment configuration using Infrastructure as Code and configuration-management tools such as Terraform, Ansible or comparable technologies.
- Write clean, maintainable code and scripts to solve engineering and automation challenges.
- Troubleshoot issues across the application, deployment and infrastructure layers.
- Improve the reliability, security, observability and performance of our cloud environments and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with Developers, TAs and other engineering teams to improve the complete software delivery lifecycle.
- Use AI-assisted development tools where they improve engineering productivity and quality.
Expected Experience
- Professional experience in software engineering and/or DevOps engineering, with a genuine interest in working across both disciplines.
- Solid software development skills in an object-oriented or comparable programming language.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD and software deployment automation.
- Experience with containers and Kubernetes; AKS experience is highly desirable.
- Practical experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Terraform and/or Ansible
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code or configuration automation. Terraform and Ansible are preferred, but comparable technologies can be relevant.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems across application and infrastructure boundaries.
- Strong learning ability and willingness to work outside a narrowly defined developer or DevOps remit.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
Nice To Have
- C# and .NET / .NET 8 development experience.
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) experience.
- PowerShell, Azure CLI or Python.
- Experience with highly available SaaS products.Experience in security-conscious or regulated software environments
