Software Engineer (Cloud Security), AI & Data Platforms (AiDP)

AI & Data Platforms (AiDP) is IS&T's engine for AI-powered innovation. The team brings together data, application development, and machine learning — including generative AI — along with data services and customer success functions, to help IS&T build solutions more efficiently and streamline the adoption and embedding of generative AI across Apple.
We are seeking an extraordinary Cloud Security Engineer who is passionate about data and security and can thrive in a fast-paced environment where both individual drive and team collaboration are the keys to success. This is a technical hands-on role that is focused on building solutions for security for on-premise and multi-cloud environments.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years experience with focus on security
- 2+ years hands-on experience with Cloud Technologies, AliCloud experience preferred
- Expertise in building applications using Java or Python
- Experience in identity and access management, encryption, and analytic domains of security
- Experience with GenAI, machine learning in anomaly detection and UBA space
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, CyberSecurity or a related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Good understanding for service-level objectives and ability to measure, report and enforce them using automation and visualizations
- Self starter with excellent interpersonal skills, and capable of working with cross functional teams and varying levels of management
