Job Description As a Software Engineer, you will be part of an agile, cross-functional team that designs and develops mission-critical digital platforms for the public sector. You will work across the full technology stack — creating responsive front-end applications and robust backend services that are reliable, secure, and scalable. The position offers exposure to a wide range of technologies and opportunities for growth. This is an ideal role for engineers who are passionate about learning, problem-solving, and building impactful solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable and tested features across the full stack — including responsive portal plugins using Next.js, Redux, and JavaScript, and backend services using Java, Python, and C++.
- Work in Agile teams, contributing to sprint planning, development, reviews, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with QA, UI/UX, and DevOps engineers to ensure technical robustness and user-centric design.
- Implement unit and integration tests to support automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and production issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in code reviews, maintain documentation, and adhere to secure coding best practices.
- (Optional) Support architecture design or system integration work with government authentication or data exchange frameworks.
- At least 1–3 years of hands-on experience in software development.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language — Java, Python, or C++.
- Experience developing front-end applications using Next.js, Redux, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design, object-oriented programming, and secure coding practices.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, GitLab, Confluence).
- Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in teams.
- (Bonus) Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) or real-time/IoT systems.
- Opportunity to work on meaningful public sector digital initiatives.
- A supportive, purpose-driven team culture.
- Structured career development and technical upskilling.
- Access to modern tools, cloud technologies, and secure DevSecOps environments.
